Aluminium

Aluminium doors and windows provide an ideal solution in terms of modern architectural design, since it provides light structures, glazing of large surfaces, quality, stiffness and stability of material. Highly efficient thermal insulation and soundproofing, the finest finishing, as well as the possibility of combining colours with clear and sharp lines, give necessary amount of exclusivity and luxury to the building.

Depending on building purpose and customer’s request, aluminium doors and windows come in various types and with different profile systems. Basic classification is by place of installation:

  • Exterior installation – Thermal break aluminium
  • Interior installation – Aluminium without thermal break

Thermal break aluminium includes three groups of profile systems:

  • Profiles with thermal break in accordance with EN ISO 12207 standard
    • Thermal break width 24 mm / coefficient Uf = 2,2 - 2,4 W/m2K
  • Profiles with thermal break in accordance with EN ISO 1077 – 2 standard
    • Thermal break width 34 mm / coefficient Uf = 1,4 - 2,0 W/m2K
  • Profiles with thermal break in accordance with EN ISO 1077 – 3 standard
    • Special profile group with coefficient Uf = 1,0 - 1,22 W/m2K, which in combination with three-pane window Ug = 0,5 W/m2K gives coefficient Uw even up to O,8 W/m2K

Aluminium doors and windows, with or without thermal break, depending on the opening method can be divided into following categories:

  • Window turn system (around horizontal or vertical axis)
  • Door turn system (inward and outward)
  • Turn and tilt system (for windows and balcony doors)
  • Tilt and slide system (PASK)
  • Lift and slide system
  • Slide system
  • Folding systems
